Getting out of the palace wasn’t too difficult. To be fair, the long deception of pretending to be able to fly meant limiting opportunities to be found out, so ruling Zephyr Heights was frequently a lonely job. The day-to-day decision making was handled by the army anyway, so getting some time to stretch her wings was easy enough for Queen Haven to do. She had more in mind than just a jog through the clouds, though. Her daughters had both snuck out again, and she figured it was time to peek in on them at their usual hang out. She set down outside Bridlewood, and raised a perfectly manicured brow at the old signs warning ponies away, now decorated with joyous graffiti and hearts. She shook her head and continued onwards, marking the drastic change from the morose town she’d first encountered, now bustling with activity and life. Here and there an earth pony stood in conversation with a unicorn, and the scent of freshly baked goods made Haven’s stomach grumble.
